Anne Soares

Mrs. Soares is the co-owner of Soares’ Martial Arts and began training about a year after Soares’ Martial Arts opened.

“Being the loudest voice in a world full of negative influences is the biggest challenges we face. The idea that parents have entrusted us to help them (on some level) raise their kids is sometimes an overwhelming responsibility, but overall pretty awesome. It’s definitely fulfilling to hear stories about kids ordering food at a restaurant for the first time, standing up for themselves, or executing random and unprovoked acts of kindness. Being in a position of influence by default requires me to always be working on becoming the best version of myself. I can’t help but wonder if our students realize how mutually beneficial our relationships are. I can’t thank them enough and it’s something I’ll always be grateful for! “
