Carolyn Andrade

ASSISTANT PROGRAM DIRECTOR/LEAD INSTRUCTOR

Mrs. Andrade began training at Soares’ Martial Arts in 2012 as part of the 90 Day Fitness Challenge.

“I fell in love with the program, seeing not just the physical benefits, it also increased my focus, confidence, self-control and gave me an outlet for stress-relief.  I decided to join as a full-time student at the end of the challenge.” In 2013 she began working as an assistant instructor in and thus developed a passion for helping others transform their lives through martial arts.  “I left a career as a social worker and educational advocate to become Assistant Program Director of Soares’ Martial Arts in 2016. “I have the pleasure of spending my days educating the community about the benefits of martial arts for adults and children, teach workshops in community schools about bullying and getting better grades, going into workplaces and teaching self-defense to keep employees safe, and helping to build a better community one black belt at a time!”
